Meet David Coit

Dr. David E. Coit serves as a Consultant with Vertess Healthcare Advisors, where he provides independent business valuation services for healthcare organizations involved in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, litigation, shareholder disputes, succession planning, and financial reporting. With more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance, business valuation, and healthcare M&A, he has completed over 1,000 business valuations across a broad range of healthcare sectors.
 

Dr. Coit specializes in the valuation of physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, behavioral health providers, home health agencies, hospice organizations, dental practices, DME companies, therapy providers, and other healthcare service businesses. His expertise combines rigorous financial analysis, recognized valuation methodologies, and deep healthcare industry knowledge to provide clients with objective, credible, and defensible valuation opinions.
 

He holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Corporate Finance, an MBA in Corporate Finance, and multiple nationally recognized valuation and M&A credentials, including CVA, CVGA, CM&AA, CBEC, and CAIM.
